Welcome to week five of Horror Through History. This week we present the giallo masterpiece DEEP RED, from the director of the original SUSPIRIA, Dario. It was directed by Craig R.

And although Suspiria left me slightly underwhelmed on an overall scale, it nonetheless helped me get more familiar with the director's. He learns that Gracie is infected with revolutionary futuristic nanobots known as "Deep Red" which possess incredible healing ability that illustrious scientist Dr. Thomas Newmeyer wants for himself no matter the cost, and the "milkmen" are.

A psychic detects a murderer while demonstrating her powers at a lecture only to be killed by the figure that night. The film that has become the master work in Italian horror maestro Dario Argento's canon, Deep Red holds up brilliantly despite the plethora of copycat slasher films it inspired in the years to follow. The film opens with a flashback murder shown from the perspective of a child while an eerie nursery rhyme.
