LOST IN SPACE is the Netflix sci-fi blockbuster series that's going to be released today. Although it's set on a distant planet, the show boasts some spectacular filming locations. Lost in Space glides along smoothly on special effects and punchy editing. At about the one-hour mark, however, the movie abandons itself to the noise, chaos and empty spectacle of the new-style Hollywood blockbuster, where story ceases to matter. That sounds terrible, but it's not so bad if you like drama and sci-fi mixed together. Netflix's Lost in Space reboot, once again, delivers a solid, satisfying run filled with dazzling effects and stunning heart.
