Pitch Perfect is an American musical comedy film series created by Kay Cannon, loosely based on the non-fiction book Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate a Cappella Glory by Mickey Rapkin. "Pitch Perfect" is basically "Bring It On", but with a cappella singing groups instead of cheerleaders and it's also a million times funnier. Directed by Jason Moore and adapted by Kay Cannon from Mickey Rapkin's novel, "Pitch Perfect" tells the story of Beca (played by Anna Kendrick). College student Beca knows she does not want to be part of a clique, but that's exactly where she finds herself after arriving at her new school.
